Ingredients:

Chicken Marinade:

  • 500 g chicken fillet
  • 6 g salt (1 tsp)
  • 3 g garlic powder (1 tsp)
  • 2 g black pepper (⅔ tsp)

Flour Mixture:

  • 1 egg (medium)
  • 150 ml water
  • 1.5 g salt (¼ tsp)
  • 2 g black pepper (⅔ tsp)
  • 3 g garlic powder (1 tsp)
  • 120 g flour
  • 3 g baking powder (1 tsp)
  • Sunflower oil (for frying)

Sauce:

  • 15 ml sunflower oil
  • 1 garlic clove (grated)
  • 85 g honey
  • 100 g ketchup
  • 20 g soy sauce

Directions:

  1. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Add the salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a deep bowl, combine the egg, water, salt, garlic powder, flour, and baking powder. Mix until a uniform batter forms. Add the marinated chicken pieces to the batter and let it stand for 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a layer of sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat (170°C). Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown on both sides.
  4. In a separate pan, heat 15 ml of sunflower oil. Add the grated garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the honey, ketchup, and soy sauce to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes over low heat.
  6. Add the fried chicken to the sauce and cook until the sauce is well absorbed and the chicken is coated.
