Ingredients:
Chicken Marinade:
- 500 g chicken fillet
- 6 g salt (1 tsp)
- 3 g garlic powder (1 tsp)
- 2 g black pepper (⅔ tsp)
Flour Mixture:
- 1 egg (medium)
- 150 ml water
- 1.5 g salt (¼ tsp)
- 2 g black pepper (⅔ tsp)
- 3 g garlic powder (1 tsp)
- 120 g flour
- 3 g baking powder (1 tsp)
- Sunflower oil (for frying)
Sauce:
- 15 ml sunflower oil
- 1 garlic clove (grated)
- 85 g honey
- 100 g ketchup
- 20 g soy sauce
Directions:
- Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. Add the salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- In a deep bowl, combine the egg, water, salt, garlic powder, flour, and baking powder. Mix until a uniform batter forms. Add the marinated chicken pieces to the batter and let it stand for 10 minutes.
- Heat a layer of sunflower oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat (170°C). Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown on both sides.
- In a separate pan, heat 15 ml of sunflower oil. Add the grated garlic and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the honey, ketchup, and soy sauce to the pan. Cook for 2 minutes over low heat.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce and cook until the sauce is well absorbed and the chicken is coated.
